Academic Bio & University Recognition
Hello! My name is Sullivan Potter, and I am a graduating senior at Ohio University. I have earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in studio art: painting & drawing, as well as a minor degree in Spanish. As a Spears Appalachian Scholar, I have also remained dedicated to Appalachian Studies.
Throughout my undergraduate career, I have maintained a GPA of 3.97. My BFA thesis research and exhibition, Just Another Redneck, Taken by the American Dream, recieved support from the Provost Undergraduate Research Funding Award and also recieved recognition as first place in creative arts & design at the Ohio University Student Expo. My creative practice has also been acknowledged within the Ohio University community, with recognition from the Student Experiential Learning Award, the Sina Sidwell Rogers Prize in Fine Arts, and multiple Juror’s Choice Awards in exhibitions featured at Ohio University Art Galleries and the Dairy Barn Center for the Arts.
