An ongoing collection of on-site, single-session plein air paintings beginning in August 2025, ‘These Hills’ is rooted in a desire to actively inherit Appalachia’s environment. Painting directly in the landscape, while incorporating sustainably sourced pigment, serves as a personal tether to the region I call home.
